MA Hons English Language and Literature (St Andrews), MA Theology (Manchester), RSA Dip PA. Worked as a PA, charity fundraiser, hospice appeals director, Salvation Army officer, college tutor, training programme director and college vice principal.

Brought up in Zimbabwe. Lived and worked in Africa, South America, S.E. Asia, USA and up and down the British Isles from the Channel Islands to Scotland. Now based in Clackmannanshire.

Familiar with accents and linguistic quirks from around the world and across British regions. Having worked in health, higher education, social services and the third sector I understand the context of a wide spectrum of research fields.
