Legal transcription specialist - experienced legal secretary
About me: I grew up in Leeds where I attended school and college. A period of temping after college gave me a great foundation in clerical and secretarial skills working for different companies in different sectors including medical, accounting, civil service and engineering. Following this I moved into the legal sector. I have extensive experience in various fields having worked as a legal secretary for prestigious UK law firms in multiple departments and for varying levels of hierarchy within those firms including a sitting Magistrate. I have attended court with counsel and the Official Solicitor for Care cases. I have dealt with police transcription of interviews of a sensitive nature.

Transcription skills: I have an excellent typing speed. I am extremely accurate and have experience in formatting dictation from what is said to what is meant, or making it more comprehensible to the specific audience.
